Hooping and Upper Body Strength

Well I have another challenge to blog about thanks to the Miss Raspberry Stethoscope!

The One Hundred Push Ups Challenge

Hooping has made me realize how much upper body strength I currently do not have... I'm hoping this 6 week challenge will help my off the body hooping endurance. This challenge only takes a few minutes, 3x a week. I plan on starting next Monday. Wish me luck!

  1. ok I'm dense... how does hooping relate to upper body strength?

  2. there is a ton of arm work in hooping... essentially spinning, lifting and rotating with the arms and hands, it's a lot harder than it looks. Especially since I have such weak shoulders and joints.
